Looking at it now, the lack of depth on my dad's face bugs me. I might go back and touch it up a bit, although I generally prefer to leave these kind of sketchy drawings as they are. I like the purity of what happens in the moment.
I am kind of a Jane-of-all-trades. I graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film. I work as a videographer, salsa instructor, and artist. I am also an aspiring writer, and especially love writing children's stories and on topics related to film.

Really great Pic, I love it. Is this water color. It looks it, which ever medium it is an awsome painting. Love your blog!
Thanks! It's pen and ink wash. It's been my medium of choice lately.

Beautiful. Really lovely work.

I like the way the portraits emerge from the steam instead of them just sitting on opposite sides of the table. Nice.
A really lovely illustration, skillfully done, a lot of heart and soul in it.
